From what I have heard and seen, the update is actually a downgrade. Too many changes, C&C lost what made it amazing in the first place. I have not updated and dont plan to, but Idk how that is going to work if everyone will be.. So looks like Im slowly going to phase out of this game. What is very sad is that I really enjoyed this game, made some contributions, and considered myself a worthy opponent and a regular user. That has all changed. April 20, 2016: since last year August I have had this game deleted. At one point, I did consider this game amazing, but based on other reviews, the game continues to go down. I would periodically check if any changes were made for the better, but no luck. Will not re-download. What a shame. BRING BACK EVERYTHING BEFORE THE 2.0 VERSION!!!

Was normally five stars, great game, but ever since the undo button was taken out whenever I fat finger something or tap the screen by accident, whatever it is that messes me up and makes me do something I didnt intend to do, it costs me a lot and often I lose the game, every single time in ranked I lose if this happens. Will change rating once they fix this because it is so frustrating at times.

I was directed to this thru a Twitter contest and honestly, never thought Id like it. And I dont. I love it. Its fun, addictive and Im hooked! If your into these games youll love it, if not give it a try!

Cards hp/at/def levels will change without warning and cards will also disappear from your private collection so do not spend any money , it is all drag and drop with no undo button also. View the version history, the changes are constant.. Like its constant beta mode. Also, the 5 star reviews are fake, its obvious

Ive been playing this game for about a year now. Ive seen both the original cards and castles, and now the new cards and castles 2.0. I really love this game so much. I think that 2.0 is way better overall than the original one(there is not another app, the original cards and castles got updated into 2.0). This game is not a pay to win game. Can you use money to get cards easier? Yes. Is it necessary to spend money on this game in order to get really far? No. This game is truly amazing and should receive a lot more attention than what it has right now. I love the new update, age of dragons, a lot. It adds so much more strategy to he game. The 2 things I would critique is that the cheapest thing u can buy with real money is 5 dollars. I wish they would make a 1 dollar thing too. The deck size should be bigger maybe like 35 cards instead. Other than that, great game. This is by far my favorite game to play. UPDATE: at first I was wondering why they made the new badge system and was kinda bummed that I couldnt use really good cards at lower badge levels, then I realized that it was to make it more fair for people who just started out with the game. I really like the new update. It gives out free cards every 8 hours so that helps newer players build their deck up faster. The direction this game is going is great and I cant wait to see the new expansion they think of next. UPDATE #2: they made everything cheaper so now its even more fun

This game overall is really fun. I have been playing this on steam for the last year so I was really exited when I found out it was an app. I honestly would pay money for a game like this which is another reason this game is incredible.
